The application of membrane structure has been widespread, the market demand is increasing, and more and more people are engaged in the membrane structure industry, but there are many merchants who are shoddy in order to earn high profits, so we are buying membrane structure It is necessary to carefully identify the quality of the membrane structure. The following we summarizes three ways to identify the quality of the PVDF membrane materials:
1. zoom in and observe. Obtain a film sample and observe it with the naked eye. We can see that there are many particle-like arrangements on the surface of the film. You can observe it more carefully with the help of a magnifying glass. If the particles are arranged uniformly and densely, it means that this is a good film. Otherwise, it is defective. Because the granular arrangement is the concrete presentation of the base fabric of the membrane material, the quality of the base fabric is not good, and the quality of the membrane material must be poor.
2. Burning test. The architectural membranes produced today have strict fire protection requirements (generally B1 or above), which can be achieved by adding appropriate fire protection additives. We can judge the pros and cons by testing the flammability of membrane materials. Generally, inferior membrane materials will deform or even burn in a short time when encountering an open flame, while good membrane materials basically cannot be lit. To test here, use a general lighter flame.
3. Acid-base test. Architectural membrane materials generally need to have high corrosion resistance and acid and alkali resistance, so we can do an experiment: cut out a few small pieces of membrane materials, and put them in an acid solution with a pH value of 5-6 and a pH value of 5-6. Observed in 7.5-8.5 alkaline solution, generally good quality membrane material will change significantly after at least 2 days, while poor quality membrane material will change color within two hours, or emit a pungent odor.
Generally, the quality of the PVDF membrane materials can be distinguished through the above three methods
